Owned and Operated by TV Zoologist, Chris Humfrey for over 26 years.We are not a petting zoo! In fact we are far from it. Your party Guests will be introduced to an amazing selection of Australian widllife including reptiles, amphibians, birds and mammals.
We teach kids to step outside their comfort zones, to be more resilient and introduce them to the wonderment of the Natural World.
The Wild Action Team operates from our own 11 acre private zoo facility, situated in the foothills of Mt. Macedon’s woodland forest of Victoria. Our animals are lovingly cared for by a Team of dedicated Zoo Keepers.
Whether your child is besotted by reptiles, or you have an ‘animal-mad’ child who wishes to be a Vet or a Zoo Keeper when they are older…..Wild Action has a selection of animals which will well and truly WOW everyone. That’s our guarantee!
How long does our Party Show run for?
Wild Action parties are a one hour show. We’ll arrive 20 minutes prior to set-up on the day.
What actually happens in our Party show?
Your child and party guests will be absolutely mesmerised.
Imagine having a live koala, endangered owl, salt-water crocodile, giant insects, baby joey kangaroo, green-tree frog, eye-licking leaf tailed gecko, goanna-lizard, bearded dragon, stumpy-tailed lizard, tawny frogmouth, behemoth python snakes, and vibrantly coloured birds inhabiting your house or venue.
Learn all about each animals ecology – where it lives, why it looks the way it does and what it eats. We discuss the important ecological niche that each species has in their natural environment. Our Presenter shares some fun quirky facts about each animal too, guaranteed to cause some laughter and giggles. Of course your party Child is the centre of attention!
What age group is our Wild Action experience most suitable for?
We present shows for birthday people of all ages. Who doesn’t like animals?
Photo opportunities abound! The birthday child participates in everything – making their day a truly memorable experience.

Australian Animals Package
Which animals come to visit?
2 X behemoth non-venomous python snakes, a crocodile species, eye-licking leaf-tailed gecko, giant monitor lizard, shingleback skink, green tree frog, fresh-water turtle, endangered owl, joey kangaroo, brush tailed bettong, adorable possum, giant burrowing cockroaches + more. (All animals are safe and amenable to handling. Our animals all have names…as they are part of our Zoo Family!)
If you have an animal which you absolutely adore and it’s not on our party guest list. Please enquire with our Team, and we’ll see if we can accomodate your wishes. You might be very surprised.
Package Two
Additional Koala + Australian Animal package
In addition to the Australian Animal package, we also bring along an adorable koala!
A koala is an exclusive special guest, and a once in a ‘life-time’ opportunity to meet up close and personal.
Strictly regulated under Victorian wildlife laws, we are only allowed to display each individual animal for a set period of time per week. It takes a lot of work and a specialist keeper to ethically and safely manage a koala.
In the State of Victoria it is illegal to hold a koala. Only our licensed Team member may do so.
However, that doesn’t mean that you can’t snuggle, pat and get ‘Selfies’ with Australia’s most iconic marsupials.
Sunday Party prices ($200 surcharge to cover Industry award).
* The welfare of our animals is of paramount importance to us. Wild Action reserves the right to cancel and forfeit our Service if the environment of our performance is deemed unfit and unsafe for our animal friends. Extreme heat days may affect our ability to provide a wildlife activation.

What are Wild Action’s booking requirements?
Payment must be received shortly after your booking confirmation. We we will email out an invoice for full payment prior to our performance to confirm our attendance. We accept credit card over the phone, or alternatively you can EFT your payment.
We just need an area where the children can sit down in a semi-circle…and we’ll do the rest!
We prefer to conduct our shows indoors, there is no mess and no fuss. Your garage or a rumpus room is ideal. Alternatively, you may chose to hire a Venue? Please check with your Venue organiser that animals are permissible in the hired space.
