SciWorld is a South Australian not-for-profit organisation full of people who are passionate about science and has been successfully operating since 2007. Following the closure of Adelaide’s Investigator Science and Technology Centre, some of its staff and supporters acquired Investigator’s assets and set up SciWorld to continue offering interactive science education to South Australians.
We have continued and expanded to provide science outreach programs in various locations around metropolitan Adelaide and regional South Australia. Our science shows, workshops, birthday parties and free public events are of benefit to all South Australians, with particular emphasis on those in the 3 to 17 year age group.

Yes! We even offer a SciWorld birthday party, complete with child-sized lab coats for all the children, as they watch exciting demonstrations and try their hand at a number of spectacular experiments. We will plan a range of activities that might include the children creating their own slime, making marvellous lava lamps, or even watching a rocket launch. We bring everything and even clean up afterwards so you can sit back, relax and let us do the work! Of course, we couldn’t attend your birthday without bringing a special science birthday gift for the birthday child!
REQUIREMENTS: Some of the activities can be messy, so an outdoors location is preferred, either in the open or in something like a carport. The SciWorld birthday party requires 1 or 2 tables and access to water.
