BIRTHDAY PARTY

We arrive 10 minutes before the presentations starts.
We need a space about 3-4 metres inside.
We bring picnic rugs for guests to sit on.
We set up a viewing box.
At birthday parties the star is the birthday child – they assist directly with the presentation.
They carry some of the animals around for their friends to touch.
“Snake safety” is included in the presentation.
In the warmer months we feed the lizards live bugs.
We don’t lecture to the children but find out the knowledge they have and add to that.
Teachers with excellent crowd control skills design our programs and we use a lot of humour throughout the presentation

Various lizards – selected from blue-tongues, pink-tongues, stumpy tails and bearded dragons. (Baby ones hatch annually) They all feel different from each other.

We have $20 million full public liability insurance.

We need to be inside (3-4 metres) in a quiet place, away from balloons or music.

Cost: Ring us and find out. Recommended number of children 15. (extra costs for over 15 children)

If there are more than 15 children, there is an extra cost of $5 per child. After 20 children there is an extra cost of $10 per child. The display takes longer & we bring more reptiles of the same species. So, the children don’t have to wait too long to touch them.
WHAT DO WE NEED FOR A PRESENTATION?

A keen group of children through to adults (we recommend between 10-15 children)
For children younger than 5 years we ask for an adult to supervise each one. (So children aren’t eaten by our animals!)
We don’t need chairs.
A sink or bucket of warm soapy water for everyone to wash his or her hands after the presentation.
