Our stunning reptile shows for birthday parties have been a hit with parents in and around Melbourne for over a decade, and we just love to entertain and educate the kids (and adults too), while you sit back, relax and enjoy the show! And you can do just that, as our parties are totally safe for kids of all ages and our wildlife presenters are as smiley as they are knowledgeable. Even better, all the excitement is truly educational and a special chance for the kids to connect with nature from the comfort and safety of your lounge room.
At this point you may be asking yourself “what actually happens at a reptile theme birthday party?” Well, for starters, we’ll bring a Stumpy Tail Lizard and a Saltwater Crocodile to make the coolest party guestlist this side of Sydney. Exciting, huh? Well then, how about their chums, a Spiny-Leaf Stick Insect, Green Tree Frog and Freshwater Turtle join the crew?! And just to put the icing on the cake, a super-friendly Monitor Lizard, a Carpet Python and an Olive will all be invited to the show as well!
Now, if getting to know our lovely reptile friends sounds good, there’s more – each and every one of the party guests will have a chance to touch them too! Our degree educated wildlife presenters enjoy nothing more than getting all your guests comfy with our hand-tame reptile chums. But of course the birthday child will be the centre of attention on the day – just think of the never-ending photo opportunities of them holding all the critters we bring along! We’ll put on a reptile birthday party that’s sure to get adrenaline pumping and smiles beaming. And your birthday child will be the envy of all their friends.

If you feel like adding a bit of slither and slide to the day, our snake birthday party upgrade will be just the ticket! Hugely popular with our parents and birthday boys and girls, with this package we’ll bring our super-exclusive guest along to meet everyone.

We’d happily bet our bottom dollar you’d never have thought you’d have Sammy, our very sassy Red-Tailed Black Cockatoo, hanging around in your living room and entertaining the guests at your kid’s birthday party. Well, with our incredible Wildlife Party package upgrade it could be happening, and it could be happening very, very soon!
But wait, it gets better still, as Sabrina our much adored and unbearably cute Woylie is also available as a special guest! Yup, that’s right, with both of these cuddly VIP guests coming to your kid’s wildlife themed party, it’ll be just like having a birthday at the zoo, but without the headache of getting there. Our uber-fun and educational reptile parties have been a mainstay of the kids party scene in Melbourne for more than a decade now. They’re always a winner – from primary schoolers to teens and above!
So, we’re guessing you’ll probably want to know a little more about these wonderful party guests before opening up your lovely lounge to them. Here goes!

When throwing our legendary Reptile Parties we’re 100% customer focused. We aim to be as flexible as possible and take away the stress of hosting a handful of hyper kids! An important part of making the day as easy and smooth as we can for you is offering a great choice of venues to suit your needs.
We’d be more than delighted to bring the party to your home, but in case you just don’t have the space, or if you would understandably rather not have the rugrats tearing up the place, we have lined you up a couple of stellar options…
The HQ: Reptile Encounters Warehouse

We’re over the moon to have opened our brand spanking new Reptile Encounters Warehouse and would love for you to join us here! It’s a purpose built and child-friendly space that is just perfect for hosting the terrors. Better still, we have plenty of space for the ankle-biters, so your birthday child can invite up to 19 of their pals. No one needs to be left off the birthday party invitation list!
Parties here at Reptile Encounters HQ last for a fun-filled 1 ½ hours and we have time slots of 10:00-11:30 am, 12:30-2:00 pm and 3:00-4:30 pm. Doors are now open on both Saturday and Sunday! And you can to either bring your own party food or hire our BBQ, so the little ones definitely won’t be going hungry, and luckily you don’t have to worry about ferrying them all to the local Macca’s. So drop us a line pronto to get your uber-cool reptile filled party in the diary!

We’re totally stoked to have teamed up with the wonderful folk at Chesterfield Farm. Offering you a chance to make your kid’s birthday truly magical, take your choice of a bouncing Reptile Party, a Snake Party or Wildlife Party, AS WELL AS full access to the super Chesterfield Farm!
Chesterfield Farm boasts plenty of undercover party areas so there’s no chance of the day being rained off and, with tonnes of wide open spaces, the kids will be able to burn off those slabs of birthday cake by running around until the sun goes down! The farm also has a host of animal attractions to compliment our own awesome posse of reptiles.
The littles ones can cuddle with cuties at the baby animal nursery then swing by to see emus, goats, deer, calves and many more snacking at feeding time. But the fun doesn’t stop there, you can catch tractor rides, watch the incredible sheepdog in action and even bottle feed adorable lambs and goats!
Just like at our Reptile Encounter HQ in Burwood, Chesterfield Farm has BBQs for hire for when the little nippers get hungry, but you’re also welcome to bring your own party food. To make life easier, we can also take care of the catering at either venue!
Here’s the lowdown of what’s on offer:
• Animal feeding with emus, goats, deer, calves and more!
• Gift shop and charming café
• Super-cute baby animal nursery!
• And of course our fun farm activities including sheepdog work (weekdays at 1:00 pm), shearing demonstration on selected days, cow milking (weekdays at 11:30 am), and bottle feeding some of our lambs or goats!
• Tractor rides daily at 10:15 am and 12:30pm
• All-weather lunch/picnic areas and $5 BBQ Hire facilities
