A Gourmet Kids birthday cooking party is great fun for all, whether you’re getting your hands sticky and licking the spoon, or watching the kids cook up a storm in our safe and supervised kitchen.

We allow your child’s creativity to flow and give them the freedom to explore their own abilities whilst making a mess in our safe and supervised kitchen.

Our parties can accommodate between 12+ (largest party has been 55) children, and are tailored to meet specific age group and requirements. We have a range of Party necessities from birthday cakes to adult catering that will help take the stress out of organizing your special day.

Basic Party

$400 up to 12 children – $27.50 per extra child

Package Includes:

Party duration: 1.5 hours
If you require  ½ hour extra party time, an additional charge from $50-$100 will apply according to the recipe and venue

Complete Party

$450 up to 12 children – $31.00 per extra child

Package Includes:

• Chef Hat and Apron for each child to take home
• Cooking activities
• Invitations
• Venue hire
• Your choice of what you can cook on the day
• Party Food ( Fairy bread, Popcorn, Potato crisps, Parker’s pretzels, Seasonal Fresh fruit, Beverages
• Additional Hot Party Food (hot chips and fish fingers are standard or you can swap or add margarita pizza muffins – an additional charge will apply)
• Fun Party Games
• Party Host

Extra Fun Party

$500 up to 12 children – $35.00 per extra child

•  Mini Cooking Utensil
• Pass parcel – with each child receiving a small party favor
• Cooking activities

• Your choice of what you can cook on the day
• Party Food ( Fairy bread, Popcorn, Potato crisps, Parker’s pretzels, Seasonal Fresh fruit, Beverages

NEW THEMED PARTY OR COLOUR PARTY TABLEWARE OPTIONS: angry bird, barbie, paw patrol, batman, ben10, cars, disney princess,  dora the explorer, leggo, my little pony, minnie or mickey mouse, sesame street, shopkins, spiderman, superman, spongebob squarepants, wiggles, thomas the tank, tinker belle  toy story and winne the pooh – additional cost from $20 according party size, colour or theme

Optional Extras include:

Cake
Gourmet Kids can arrange a personalised fresh cream sponge (vanilla or chocolate) or an ice-cream cake, with your choice of edible gel images and birthday greeting drawn on top, or an edible photo image of your child for no extra cost. Our cake prices are very reasonable – starting from $29  inclusive of candles, plates etc.   We also have a range of speciality options such as dollcakes, or are happy to accept any special requests.

You are welcome to bring your own cake, however a $15 surcharge will apply to cover the supply of candles, plates, cutlery, napkins and clean-up services.

Party Bags 
Although Gourmet Chefs get to take away their precious baked item as their take home treat. We can also organise lolly bags for only $2.00 per guest .

Miniature cooking dolls
Playgro soft dolls which comes as a boxed set – girl and boy dressed in chef hat an apron are a cute party favour and fabulous alternative to the typical lolly bag plus good value at $5.50 per boxed set.  Can be removed from box and given individually thus only $2.75 per doll.

Pass the Parcel 
We have our own unique pass the parcel game (not the standard unwrap each layer game) whereby each child will receive either at small party favour for $1.00 per child (e.g. whistle, bouncy ball, magnifier, harmonica, love heart charm necklace, parachute man and many more options) or mini cooking utensil for $1.50 per child (mini wooden spoon, spatular, cookie cutter, pastry brush, mini whisk, measure scoop, mini tong)
