Countless children dream of riding a horse so why not make your child’s dreams come true by celebrating their birthday with a few close friends and the Gooromon Park ponies.

Birthday parties are held every Saturday. Bookings are essential. To secure your child’s special birthday surprise, please contact us.

Horsey Parties are great fun and a delightful way to introduce children to horses.

Parties commence at approximately  11:00am or 3.00pm:

Party Schedule:

Arrival: The party participants should arrive 15 minutes before the party commences kids will be fitted with helmets & boots provided by Gooromon Park. The fit of helmets and boots is important and are essential items of safety equipment that must be worn to participate. Please let your children know that the helmets must fit firmly. Our instructors will fit the boots and helmets for the children.

Safety procedures: Our Instructors will explain to the children how to conduct themselves around the horses. Children are introduced to the Horses: The fun begins! Children are divided into smaller groups, one group will participate in grooming and the other group will start learning to vault; then both groups will swap. Vaulting is GREAT FUN; imagine riding a horse like a circus performer. The horse has a special vaulting roller which provides handles for the children to hold onto whilst the Instructor controls the horse. For experienced children we organise either a trail ride or games activities on horseback. Horse section of the party will finish at 12:00pm or 4.00pmdepending on the time you booked your party. Children will return to the office to remove their safety equipment and receive a horsey lolly bag. Children can then return to the gardens for food & cake. All party attendees must vacate the premises by 12:30pm or 4.30pm depending on the time you booked your party.

The birthday party information package provides parents with the following information:

• directions to Gooromon Park
• Parent and Guardian Disclaimer form

Disclaimer Form: Parents or Guardians must complete this form. A separate form needs to be filled out for EACH child giving all relevant information, especially medical conditions. The form must be returned to Gooromon Park on the day of the party before the children can participate in the party. It is of the utmost importance that Gooromon Park Instructors understand the children in their care.

The Disclaimer form is an insurance requirement and MUST be completed before each child rides.

Birthday Invitations: Gooromon Park Invitations are double sided and may be printed in colour or black and white. If you choose to use your own invitations we recommend you supply extra information concerning what to wear & the map to Gooromon Park.

Pricing :

A minimum of six children must be booked for parties to proceed:

6 Children – $306
Additional Child – $51.00 Per Child

A $100 up-front non-refundable deposit must be paid to secure your booking.
