Collingwood Children’s Farm

Thank you for considering the Collingwood Children’s Farm for your child’s birthday. The Farm has always been one of Melbourne’s best birthday venues for young children offering an unforgettable place with fun activities.

Basic birthday parties

You are welcome to bring your group to the Farm any day of the year. The Farm is a great place for young people – they can see their favourite farm animals and get up close and personal with our cow at milking time and maybe help with brushing, 10.15am and 4 pm. Guinea-pig cuddles at 10.30am, 12.30 and 3.15pm daily.

Our monthly Family Days (1st Sunday of the month February through to November) are great days to have a party as there are extra free activities such as tractor rides, feed walks, and often, pony rides (there are no pony rides in August and September while the horses have a break).

Come early to grab yourself a table, or bring a picnic rug and spread yourselves out in the Stables paddock.

Cost: Normal entry prices apply, and concessions are available.

Booking the party area venue

(Dates book out around 12 months in advance, so get in early!  Bookings open on the first Monday of the month at 7pm, for that same month the following year.  Cancellations do occur, so keep your eye on the website.)

PLEASE NOTE:  Due to a sustainability review, we will no longer offer hosted parties with feed walks, pony or tractor rides for bookings dates from 1st JULY 2019.

• A reduced fee of $60 will allow you to hire a dedicated and covered party area, and you will be welcome to join in with the engaging and fun activities at the Farm across the weekend.
•  Normal entry fees will apply for you and your guests.
• Changes will be made to public feed walks times, so please check for updates closer to your booking.
•  We aim to provide children and their families with the same ‘Farm Experience’ but unfortunately, paddocks, ponies and grounds need to be rested for a while.
