African Drumming
Give them a party they’ll be raving about with African Drumming.ABOUT OUR PARTIES
Our African Drumming parties are always fun and memorable. Drumming and dancing encourages kids
to be creative and energetic in positive ways, and our parties also add an original cultural experience for children to share with their friends. We usually deliver a mixture
of drumming, dancing, and singing, and we’re always adaptable and can tailor our session to your requests. We bring drums and shakers for everyone – it’s a party that everyone will rave about.
How are the parties run?
Each performer has their own style and formula for a great event, though our sessions follow a basic structure that suits a 50 minute session. Usually, we kick off with a short performance and introduce ourselves, getting everyone excited about the music. We move into the fun quickly with drumming, including African rhythms, musical games, and a great jam. We’ll get them grooving too, with some tribaldancing and chanting along the way. The party ends on a high so that everyone leaves feeling great!

ABOUT US
We offer West African musical experiences. With over 15 years in the industry, we can offer a peace of mind and level of service that puts us ahead of the pack. There’s more to us than just great events: we make and sell our own drums and instruments, run classes, workshops, retreats and study tours to Bali and Africa, and we train people to facilitate drumming classes through our Teacher Training Course. We host a nation-wide network of drummers and dancers and operate Australia wide. Our team includes performers from West Africa (including Mali, Senegal and Ghana) and homegrown talent too.
