Aaaand the answer is no! Well it could be yes if you wanted it to be – kids might mutter “where’s the party bag?” to their parent as they walk off and that would be the end of it, but if you ask the kids at Party Lane the answer is a firm no.
We all know that one parent whose party bag game is STRONG (think personalised, themed, possibly filled with quality lollies – none of those weird individually wrapped lollies that no one is really sure what they’re meant to be). At the other end of the spectrum there’s the good old chuck in a few lollies, maybe a sticker or two in a bag and call it a day (or better yet – let the party venue do it for you!). The truth is kids are happy with anything. As the parent whispers “what do you say?” and the little party guest says “thank you for having me” the birthday child will say thank you in return and hand over the goods to a smiling child. So whatever your party bag game is – full of sugar / no sugar, full of plastic / no plastic, personalised / generic, diy / outsourced – they are always loved and kids are always happy with whatever they get.
